Bobby Woodman Rail Trail Trestle Bridge Decking Project (RFP)

Work includes the safe removal and disposal of the existing decking, structural repairs or replacement as needed, installation of new pressure-treated (pt) lumber decking, and coordination of pedestrian trail closures to ensure public safety during construction. Safely remove all existing decking materials. Dispose of all removed materials in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Inspect all structural support beams after decking removal. Repair or replace any critical structural support beams that are damaged, weakened, or not in compliance with current safety standards. Use structural-grade lumber or equivalent approved materials. Supply and install new minimum 2x6 pressure-treated lumber decking. Install decking in accordance with industry's best practices, manufacturer's specifications, and applicable building codes.
