Compost Paving 2025

The City of Columbus, Department of Public Utilities is receiving bids until November 12, 2025, at 3:00 PM Eastern Time for construction of the Division of Water Reclamation’s Compost Paving 2025 project, the work for which consists of removing and replacing 26,500 square feet of heavy duty concrete pavement, and other work as may be necessary to complete the contract, in accordance with the drawings, technical specifications, special provisions, and City of Columbus Construction and Material specifications set forth in this Invitation For Bid (IFB). Bids are to be submitted only at www.bidexpress.com. Hard copies shall not be accepted. All questions concerning this project are to be sent to DPUConstructionBids@columbus.gov. The last day to submit questions will be October 31, 2025, phone calls will not be accepted. Responses will be posted on Bid Express at www.bidexpress.com as an addendum. Notice of published addenda will be posted on the City’s Vendor Services web site and all addenda will be posted on www.bidexpress.com. A pre-bid meeting will be held. There will be a pre-bid meeting held at the Southwesterly Composting Facility, 7000 Jackson Pike, Lockbourne, OH 43137, on October 22, 2025, at 1:00 PM Eastern Time. Following the pre-bid conference, a tour will be given to allow Bidders to inspect the Project area and facilities. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference and walk-thru tour. Bidders are charged with knowing whatever was discussed in the pre-bid conference in preparing and submitting their bid.
