2026 Design Review Board Openings

TOWN OF VAIL PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVENthat three (3) vacancies exist on the Town of Vail Design Review Board (DRB) applications are being accepted. Applicants must be residents and registered voters of the Town of Vail.  The term of each new appointment begins April 1, 2026, and expires on March 31, 2028 (two-year terms).  The DRB meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month and meetings are held at 2:00 p.m. in the Vail Municipal Building. Duties of the five-member DRB include reviewing the design of new structures, remodels, sign requests, landscaping plans and other architectural and aesthetic matters. Persons interested in serving on the DRB should submit applications usinghttps://www.vail.gov/government/boards-commissions-authority-district/design-review-board-drb no later than 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. All applicants will be interviewed by the Town Council at their afternoon meeting on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 with a final selection at the evening meeting that same day.
