Hurricane and Storm Damage Reduction Project Venice Beach Renourishment Sarasota County, Florida

The project area extends from just north of fdep range monument r-116 in the north to r-133 in the south. Beach compatible sand for the project will be dredged from an offshore borrow area located approximately 10 nautical miles southwest from the center of the project site. Project work also includes, but is not limited to, screening, mec construction support, beach tilling, hardbottom surveying and monitoring, vibration monitoring, sea turtle trawl sweeping and relocation, and environmental and water quality monitoring.
