NOTICE OF PROPOSED CHANGES ON COMMUNITY ENERGY FACILITIESIN THE REGULATIONS OF THE REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKASummary of proposed changes: The Regulatory Commission of Alaska (RCA) proposes regulation changes in Title 3 of the Alaska Administrative Code related to community energy facilities and in response to recent changes in statute at AS 42.05.725 – AS 42.05.735. Specifically, the proposed regulation changes implement a community energy program allowing small-scale renewable community energy generation facilities to be integrated into the generation portfolio of electric utilities.Written comments: You may comment on the proposed regulations changes, including the potential costs to private persons of complying with the proposed changes, by submitting written comments to the RCA at 701 W. 8th Ave, Ste 300, Anchorage, AK 99501.
