CALL FOR BIDSCITY OF KITTITASRESERVOIR 2ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE:  $3,400,000 to $4,100,000Sealed Proposals will be received by the undersigned at the City of Kittitas, 207 North Main Street, Kittitas, Washington 98934, up to 11:00 A.M.; local time on Thursday, October 16, 2025, for furnishing the necessary labor, materials, equipment, tools, and guarantees thereof to construct Reservoir 2.The contract provides for the construction of a Base Bid for 35-foot diameter, 124-foot tall welded steel reservoir with concrete foundation, appurtenances, site piping, 12-inch transmission main, electrical, and site grading.  The Contract also has additive schedules (option with Owner) for additional reservoir volume, integration of inlet/outlet vaults within the concrete foundation, additional gravel restoration, and compliance with BABA requirements.Contractors are required to bid the Base Bid and all additive schedules.  Failure to do so shall make the bid unresponsive.The Work shall be Substantially complete within 200 working days after the commencement date stated in the Notice to Proceed.  All bidding and construction is to be performed in compliance with the Contract Provisions and Contract Plans for this project and any addenda issued thereto that are on file at the office of the City Clerk, City Hall, Kittitas, Washington.The Proposals will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the time and date stated above.  Proposals are to be submitted only on the form provided with the Bid Documents.  All Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashiers check, or Proposal bond payable to the “City of Kittitas” and in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total Proposal amount.Bid Documents for this project are available free-of-charge at the following website:https://gobids.grayandosborne.com.  Bidders are encouraged to register in order to receive automatic email notification of future addenda and to be placed on the Bidders List.  For assistance, please call (509) 453‑4833.  Contract questions shall be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer.Financing of the Project has been provided by City of Kittitas, the Washington State Public Works Board program with state funds, and the Washington State Community Development Block Grant Program with federal funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  The City of Kittitas expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any Proposal.All Contractors must be licensed in the State of Washington to conduct business.  All work performed on this project will be subject to the higher of the prevailing federal or state wage rates.  Small, Minority, and Women-owned firms are encouraged to submit bids.  The City of Kittitas is an Equal Opportunity Employer.(Signed)                CHRISTA STREAMCITY ADMINISTRATOR
