Description

San Miguel County Road and Bridge Department - Invitation to Bid for Dust Control A total of 10,000 gallons of straight MgCl (30% blend) to be delivered to the storage tank located at the Norwood Shop, 39595 Hwy 145, Norwood, CO 81423. Also, price per gallon of straight MgCl for customer pickup and specify the location of the loading dock. 50,000 gallons of straight MgCl (30% blend) to be delivered and applied to roads in the Norwood area. 10,000 gallons of 80/20 Magnesium Chloride/Lignosulfonate with Magnesium Chloride concentration of 25% and minimum Lignosulfonate concentration of 5% to be delivered to the Deep Creek Shop storage tank, 15553 Hwy 145, Telluride, CO 81435. 140,000 gallons of 80/20 Magnesium Chloride/Lignosulfonate with Magnesium Chloride concentration of 25% and minimum Lignosulfonate concentration of 5% to be delivered and applied in the east end of San Miguel County. Please also price 10,000 gallons of straight MgCl (30% blend) to be delivered to the Deep Creek Shop storage tank, 15553 Hwy 145, Telluride, CO 81435. For alternative cost comparison. Please also price 140,000 gallons of straight MgCl (30% blend) to be delivered and applied to roads in the east end of San Miguel County. For alternative cost comparison. San Miguel County will accept bids for products that are comparable in percentages to those listed in the above specifications. Please include SDS sheets on any comparable products to show environmental benefits. Please price each product separately including delivery and application. San Miguel County may award all or part of the requested products to one or more bidders. San Miguel County may adjust product or quantities, if necessary, due to price and available funds. Please submit bids no later than February 23, 2026. A detailed schedule will be arranged with the successful bidder but application is expected to begin April 28 - May 15, 2026 or potentially earlier due to weather and conditions.
