Proposals received in response to this request for information will be forwarded to the City’s Sustainability Manager for evaluation and consideration.The City of Wauwatosa is seeking information from qualified sustainability consultants to partner with the City and developers seeking Tax Increment Financing (TIF) assistance in evaluating and integrating sustainable practices into proposed developments applying for TIF assistance.  The goal is to ensure TIF projects align with the City’s sustainability and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction goals, contribute positively to the local environment, and enhance community resilience.The City anticipates using Tax Incremental funds to be generated by the economic development projects to fund the sustainability consulting.  This RFI is for planning purposes only and is not a commitment by the City to enter into a contract or pay for any costs incurred in the preparation of a response.  All material submitted becomes public property and may be subject to public disclosure laws.Each consultant is responsible for determining all factors necessary for submission of a comprehensive proposal in accordance with the City of Wauwatosa Request for Information dated April 1, 2026 and this Official Notice.Proposal documents are available via email.   Please contact the City of Wauwatosa Purchasing Department at lschleimer@wauwatosa.net or by phone at (414) 479-8958 to obtain them.Questions concerning this proposal request will be received through Wednesday, April 15, 2026 at 4:00 PM. When deemed relevant, responses to questions received will be distributed to all RFI holders of record, via an Addendum to ensure uniformity, by 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 22, 2026.  Please include “Questions/Clarifications Sustainability Consulting for TIF Projects” in the subject line when submitting.Consultants are not permitted to contact individual City Council members or other City staff for clarification of the RFP.   Any such contact may disqualify the consultant from evaluation.Proposal responses are due not later than 4:00 PM, Friday, May 1, 2026.
