Clinch Co FY 2024-2026 LMIG / 2025 LRA - Resurfacing Improvements

Separate, sealed Bids will be received for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment, and incidentals necessary for the installation of the Resurfacing Improvements on Nine County Roads, Fiscal Year 2024-2026 Local Maintenance and Improvement Grant (LMIG) and 2025 Local Road Assistance (LRA) until 10:00am (local time), Thursday, October 23, 2025, at which time bids will be opened and read. The meeting will be held at the Clinch County Board of Commissioners¿ Office and will be open to the public. Proposals can be mailed to the attention of Jaclyn James, County Administrator for the Clinch County Board of Commissioners, 22 Court Square, Suite B Homerville, Georgia 31634. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. Clinch County Board of Commissioners may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids. The Scope of Work Includes: 2024-2026 Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) 2025 Local Road Assistance Grant (LRA) Resurfacing Improvements on Nine County Roads. (Total of 10.834 Miles) All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the Clinch County Board of Commissioners in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the Clinch County Board of Commissioners. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to the Clinch Board of Commissioners as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. All work on the project must be completed within 180 consecutive calendar days of date work
