Description

The Consultant will perform under the general direction of the City Manager’s Office and consult with the City Attorney’s Office and City Council on an as needed basis. The Scope of Work (SOW) will involve tracking and analyzing legislation, drafting and updating the Legislative Priorities, arranging and conducting meetings with legislators, and actively lobbying the California State Legislature. The full SOW is thoroughly detailed in Attachment A. The Consultant will work onsite and offsite as required to support the City while interacting with staff, City Council, or other agencies, if applicable
