PROPOSAL TO PERMIT USE OF STATE AIRPORT LAND: The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to permit use of Parcel B, consisting of approximately 300 square feet (ADA-51095), at Klawock Airport for five (5) years, to expire May 1, 2031. Applicant: EarthScope Consortium Inc. Authorized uses: Non-aeronautical - Maintenance and operation of a permanent global position system for earthquake monitoring and research. No fueling is authorized on the premises. Annual rent: $625.00. Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m., March 12, 2026, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the lease. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection or a competing application to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
