TCCD is selecting a Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) to provide preconstruction and construction services for the consolidation of two science educationfacilities into a single, new building on the Northeast Campus located at 828 West Harwood Road, in Hurst, Texas. In addition, the vacated science buildingswill be renovated for use as additional staff and general-purpose classroomspaces. TCCD will select a CMAR though a two-step process as outlined in Chapter 2269, Subchapter F, section 2269.253 ofthe Texas Government Code. Upon evaluation of the responses to this RFQ, TCCD will rank the firms to create a short list for step two of theselection process. The shortlist of firms will receive a request tosubmit a fee and general conditions proposal. After review of the fee and general conditions proposals, TCCD will select firms to interviewbefore making a final selection
