ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SEWERAGE SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS MODIFICATIONS TO WATER POLLUTION CONTROL PLANT FOR THE CITY OF HOMERVILLE, GEORGIA ARPA SLFRF #GA-0010680 & POTENTIAL GEFA SRF LOAN/GRANT Sealed proposals will be received by City of Homerville, Georgia at the City of Homerville City Hall, 20 South College Street, Homerville, Georgia 31634 until 2:00 p.m. local time, Thursday, October 30, 2025 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read. No submitted bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days. All Bidders must have a State of Georgia Utility Contractor License and must employ a state ¿Utility Manager¿ certificate holder who will have oversight of all the work. The work to be done consists of furnishing all materials, equipment and labor for the construction of: Modifications to existing water pollution control plant to include construction of a mechanical bar screen, rehabilitation of influent pump station including removal and replacement of submersible pumps, blower equipment replacement, repairs to mechanical package plants, addition of chemical feed equipment, construction of tertiary filters and addition of post aeration. Time allotted for construction is 240 consecutive calendar days for substantial completion and 270 days for final completion.
