25BB1001-Gardiner Aerial Taps

The District is interested in receiving informal quotations from contractors on the District’s Prequalification of Electrical Workers’ Roster for the Gardiner Aerial Taps project. The general scope of the work to be accomplished is as shown in the enclosed exhibits, drawings and/or the attached specifications.  Quotations must be received by 3 p.m., Wednesday, September 24, 2025, to be considered.  Late arriving, incomplete bids will not be considered and will not be accepted.The Contractor will provide some materials (as indicated in Exhibit G), equipment, and labor to complete the project, which consists of aerial distribution segments throughout an existing project area. There are a total of 184 aerial segments throughout the geographical work area. The aerial cable will be ADSS fiber installed in the power space on Jefferson PUD owned poles and will include counts of 12, 24, 48, and 96. This bid does not include splicing. Splicing the existing mainline cable to the new aerial taps installed with this bid will be completed by the mainline contractor. This bid includes 10.72 miles of aerial cables and 294 units of aerial attachment hardware.This project is partially funded by federal award number 53-08-12209 (BIP NTIA) awarded to Washington State Broadband Office by the U.S. Department of the Commerce and by federal award number SLRFP0002 (ARPA SLFRF) or CPFFN0145 (ARPA Capital) awarded to Washington State Broad Band Office by the U.S. Department of the Treasury.Bid documents can be found on the District's website at:https://www.jeffpud.org/open-rfps/or at the District office located at 310 Four Corners Road, Port Townsend, WA 98368.
