Hagerstown is seeking biosolids drying facility process improvements for sludge and cake conveyance upgrades.

Description

Work includes installation of a liquid sludge surge/day tank, sludge feed pump, including all associated piping and other work. An existing grinder and grinder control panel will be relocated from the digester building to serve the new sludge feed pump; replacement of cake pump and cake pump discharge piping with a new horizontal reversing screw conveyor and an inclined screw conveyor, including all associated work; installation of dust hazard mitigation equipment, including all associated work. This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply. All questions must be addressed to Tyler French and must be received no later than 3:00 PM EST on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
