2026 LMIG SPLOST ROADS ASPHALT PAVING PROJECT

This project will be funded with 2026 LMIG and SPLOST funds. Construction includes asphalt milling, patching, resurfacing, and striping on Big Ridge Road South, Big Ridge Road North, Hood Road, Camp Road, Gennett Court, and Camp Road West. Additional roads could be added/replaced at the County¿s discretion. The work will include approximately 165,907 SY of Asphalt Paving using approximately 20,468 tons of asphalt. All work shall conform to the Georgia Department of Transportation¿s (GDOT) Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2021 Edition; GDOT¿s Supplemental Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems, 2024; and all applicable GDOT Standards and Details; and other contract requirements, specifications and general conditions. Pickens County reserves the right to modify or reduce the roadway segments included in the project based on submitted bid pricing
