NOTICE TO TAXPAYERS REGARDING PUBLIC HEARING ON 2026 BUDGET

Notice is hereby given to taxpayers of MARION COMMUNITY SCHOOL CORPORATION, Grant County, Indiana that the proper officers of Marion Community Schools will conduct a public hearing on the year 2026 budget. Public Hearing Date: Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025 Public Hearing Time: 6:30 PM Public Hearing Location: Marion Community Schools Board Room, 750 W. 26th St., Marion, IN Following this meeting, any ten (10) or more taxpayers may object to a budget, tax rate, or tax levy by filing an objection petition with the proper officers of Marion Community Schools not more than seven (7) days after the hearing. The objection petition must identify the provisions of the budget, tax rate, or tax levy to which taxpayers object. If a petition is filed, Marion Community Schools shall adopt with the budget a finding concerning the objections in the petition and testimony presented. Following the aforementioned hearing, the proper officers of Marion Community Schools will meet to adopt the following budget: Est.
