Ellsworth Maine Request for Bids – 160 Class Excavator

The City of Ellsworth is seeking sealed bids for the purchase of one (1) new 160-class hydraulic excavator for use by the Public Works Department. This machine will be used in support of the City’s infrastructure improvement projects, including road reconstruction, drainage improvements, and utility installations. Enclosed please find the Bid Specifications outlining the required features and performance standards for the excavator, as well as instructions for submission. All bids must be received at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, Ellsworth, Maine, in a sealed envelope clearly marked “Bid – 160 Class Excavator” no later than September 4th at 2:00 pm. Bids received after this deadline will not be considered. Bids will be evaluated based on compliance with specifications, cost, warranty coverage, service availability, and delivery schedule. The City of Ellsworth reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to accept the bid deemed in the best interest of the City.
