48 Inch Water Transmission Main Repair

Work includes 2 EA excavation; 2 EA shoring/trench safety; 2 EA removal and disposal of 40 LF of defective PCCP piping; 2 EA installation of city provided repair pipe and associated parts; 2 EA backfill/surface restoration (includes minimum of 12" class 67 3/4" rock for pipe bedding material around entire pipe circumfrence. ) This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply. The term of the awarded Contract shall be one (1) year. Location 36°16'19.7"N 94°08'00.1"W (identified as Leak 01 on attached reference material), located in an open field East of HWY 71B in Lowell. Location 2 is at GPS coordinates 36°16'20.0"N 94°08'55.3"W (identified as Leak 05 on attachedreference material), located in an open field approximately 5,000ft West, just East of Interstate 49 in Lowelll.
