UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON MHSC BB Wing Elev & Transformers Replace Project No. 209022 Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for Design-Build Services General: The University of Washington (University or UW) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from qualified design-build teams (which may include joint ventures) to design and construct the UWMC ML Kitchen Cafeteria Expansion Renovation project. Project Description: Modernization of the existing Magnuson Health Sciences Center (MHSC) BB Wing elevators (52, 53, 54, 55) and replacement of two oil filled medium voltage switches transformers and switches. Mechanical rooms are located on the 17th and 18th floors of building with limited access. Building access for materials and equipment to complete this work requires innovative solutions to ensure safe, efficient, and quality installation.
