Description
The Village of Lake in the Hills is soliciting proposals for a PFAS Removal Pilot Study (RFP #510454).
The primary purpose of this RFP is to identify and evaluate effective technologies and solutions for removing Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) from the Village's water supply. The study aims to determine the feasibility, effectiveness, and cost-efficiency of various treatment methods.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the design, implementation, and monitoring of a pilot-scale PFAS removal system. This encompasses evaluating chemical and non-chemical water treatment systems, including ultraviolet sterilization and contaminated groundwater treatment equipment.
