Contact KimWhite@vail.gov with questions. Brief Description of Work: This is a re-bid due to no bid received within budget on previous publication. Project scope is generally the same with clarification questions/answers incorporated into this publication. The project generally consists of fire free five landscape improvements through the removal and disposal of combustible material such as grass, shrubs and limbs within five (5) feet of the Gymnastic Center and replaced with gravel, fire-rated composite lumber, and some fabric. Schedule: Non-selective herbicide applications can be applied as soon as the grass comes out of winter dormancy after or around May 15th. Grass removal and construction should be scheduled between June 2nd 2026 - June 15th, 2026, if possible, to decrease work disruptions from the public. Work outside of this time can be considered.
