Description
The State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation, is soliciting proposals for Environmental Consulting Services for the Highways Maui District Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) Program under RFP number HWY-ME-26-002.
The primary purpose of this RFP is to secure a qualified consultant to provide comprehensive environmental consulting services to support the Department's compliance with its MS4 permit requirements in the Maui District. The scope of services includes, but is not limited to, assisting with permit implementation, conducting stormwater monitoring and sampling, performing inspections of construction sites and industrial facilities, developing and delivering public education and outreach programs, and preparing reports as required by the MS4 permit.
Key requirements include demonstrated experience in MS4 program implementation, a thorough understanding of applicable environmental regulations and best management practices (BMPs) related to stormwater management, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.
