Administration Building HVAC Replacement Project

Pursuant to the provisions of the Texas Government Code, Chapter 2269, Subchapter D, the Elgin Independent School District intends to select, via Competitive Sealed Proposals, a Contractor for the Administration Building HVAC Replacement Project. The project includes but is not limited to the replacement of 13 existing heat pump split systems with similar new units. Four fan coil units are floor-mounted nine are ceiling-mounted, with ceiling removal as needed for mechanical access. Salvage and reinstall ceiling materials to match original conditions. Four outdoor heat pumps are on grade nine are on the roof. The contractor shall remove the acoustic ceiling and the ceiling above it to facilitate structural review of the roof deck by the structural engineer, referencing structural and architectural plans for details
