Description

The City of Seattle, through its Department of Transportation, SDOT, requests Statements of Qualifications with the goal of retaining a consultant team who can be available on an on-call basis to provide business analysis, change management support and organizational strategies for SDOT.  Individual scopes of work will be determined by the City based on planning, priority and budget and negotiated with the consultant as funding becomes available. Those individual scopes of work are issued as a Work Authorization against the on-call contract.  Each Work Authorization will clearly outline the consultant’s services, fee and schedule for completion as negotiated with the assigned City project manager.Seattle is entering a prolonged period of transformative infrastructure development and major events, including the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup, Revive I-5 (2025-2028), 2024 Move Levy, and Sound Transit 3 construction (2025–2030+). These initiatives will place significant demand on the city’s transportation network and the Seattle Department of Transportation. To ensure mobility and livability during these periods of maximum constraint, SDOT must proactively assess and enhance its internal tools, processes, and programs across the department. The purpose of this contract is to assist those efforts.SDOT’s Directors Office will use this on-call to conduct business analysis, support change management and provide organizational strategies that ensure SDOT is well-positioned to successfully manage the transportation network during the City’s next era of large-scale construction and major events.City of Seattle Procurement Portal Powered by OpenGovIf you have not previously done so, register at:https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/seattle, then subscribe to the City’s Procurement Portal.
