WSST)BIDS DUE: Tuesday, October 28, 2025 by 1:00 pmPRE-BID MEETING: Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at 1:00 pmPublic notice is hereby given that the City of Shelton has issued a Request for Bids for the above-named project, with sealed bids due no later than the date and time given above. Bids received after the time fixed for Bid Opening will not be accepted or considered.The Work consists of constructing a 500,000-gallon glass-lined bolted reservoir for reclaimed water including site work, site piping, site restoration, electrical, instrumentation, and telemetry.The Contractor will have 240 Working Days to Substantially Complete the Work in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.Due to the importance of all Bidders having a clear understanding of the specifications and scope of work requirements for this project, a pre-bid meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday October 14, 2025 at 1:00 pm to be held at the City of Shelton Water Reclamation Plant, 10891 North Highway 101, Shelton, Washington 98584. Attendance is not mandatory. Subcontractors are encouraged to attend, but are not required. The meeting location is within a secured, fenced facility. Bidders attending the pre-bid meeting must arrive on time in order for City staff to provide access through the security gate. Late arrivals may not be admitted. The City reserves the right to schedule additional pre-bid meetings if the City determines it is in its best interest.This Project is subject to RCW 39.04.320 and requires 15% of all labor hours be performed by apprentices registered in a State Approved Apprenticeship Program. The City will not be responsible for unsuccessful submittals of questions.Responses to questions received by the deadline will be distributed to all bidders registered on the project through Builder’s Exchange, as well as posted to the City’s Bidding Opportunities webpage. The City reserves the discretion to group similar questions to provide a single answer or not to respond when the requested information is confidential.
