This project consists of, but is not limited to: The Caledonia County Courthouse Roof Replacement Project, which focuses on the roof over the 1999 addition that sustained damage during the July 2024 flood impacting the region, requires a complete membrane and insulation replacement. This work primarily involves the complete removal of the existing roofing system down to the deck, including all canopies, cants, flashings, scuppers, and roof accessories as necessary to facilitate the installation of a new, fully warrantied system. Following the demolition, the existing deck and associated substructures must be prepared in strict accordance with the new roofing manufacturer's recommendations. The core of the project is the installation of the new fully warrantied roofing system, which will incorporate a roof board, both sloped and flat insulation, coverboard, and the final roofing membrane, along with all corresponding canopies, cants, flashings, scuppers, and roof accessories. A crucial component of this replacement is the inclusion of rigid foam board insulation to ensure compliance with current Vermont State energy standards (CBES) and to establish the necessary slope to prevent water ponding on the roof surface. There is an attachment size limit of 40 MB. It is the Bidder’s responsibility to compress the PDF file containing its bid if necessary in order to meet this size limitation.
