41st Avenue Multimodal Improvements and Pavement Rehabilitation Project

The City of Capitola’s Department of Public Works is currently soliciting bids for construction of the following project:41st Avenue Multimodal Improvements and Pavement Rehabilitation ProjectGeneral Work Description:The project includes rehabilitation of the existing pavement using Partial Depth Recycling (PDR) along 41st Avenue from Clares Street to the County/City boundary, together with striping and signing improvements to enhance bicycle accessibility and improve lane selection for wayfinding. Work also includes replacement of two signal poles and one curb ramp/return at the Gross Road and 41st Avenue intersection, signal modifications at the State Route (SR)-1 southbound ramp terminal intersection, SR-1 wayfinding pavement markings, and bicycle facility improvements.The project will be bid using aBase Bid with an Additive Alternate.
