PROPOSAL TO PERMIT USE OF STATE AIRPORT LAND: The Alaska Department of Transportation & Public Facilities proposes to permit use of Parcel J, consisting of approximately 8,000 square feet (ADA-51074), at Klawock Airport for five (5) years, to expire January 1, 2030. Applicant: Department of Public Safety. Authorized uses: Non-aeronautical - Operation and maintenance of an impound yard with fenced-in area and storage shed; storage of boats, boat trailers, and vehicles. Annual rent: $1,600.00. Competing applications or written comments must be received by 4:30 p.m, February 6, 2026, after which the Department will determine whether or not to execute the permit. The Department’s decision will be sent only to persons who submit written comment or objection or a competing application to the Department, at the address and by the date and time specified in this notice, and include their return address.
