Description
Turner County is requesting qualifications & proposals from Architectural Firms to provide pre-and post-award services for community and economic development projects.Services include preparing preliminary architectural reports,planning,design,cost estimating,bidding,contracting,construction oversight,quality control,and project closeout.All contracts must include full compliance with Build America Buy America(BABA), including collecting and maintaining manufacturer certifications throughout construction and transferring documentation to the grant recipient.The architect must certify compliance at project closeout.Turner County is pursuing Public Infrastructure Improvements such as water,sewer,paving,and drainage,and may apply for funding through the Community Development Block Grant(CDBG)Annual Competition or Employee Incentive Program(EIP) programs administered by the Georgia Department of Community Affairs(DCA).Architect selection will be based on qualifications related to community and economic development needs, and all contracts are subject to Federal and State requirements prescribed by DCA. Selection may also qualify the firm for additional projects within the grant period. Turner County reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal and to waive informalities. This project is a Section 3 Covered Contract, and Section 3 Business Concerns are encouraged to apply.
