Description

The DNR Seeks to Purchase: Engineering services from a qualified engineering consulting firm for the design of flood damage repair work at Green Island (Jackson Co.) and Princeton (Scott Co.) Wildlife Management Areas (WMA’s). The selected firm will prepare final designs, including drawings, specifications, and cost estimates. The firm will be responsible for all aspects of design from developing the facility plans through assisting with the construction bidding process, and will be retained to provide construction administration support during the construction. The firm will be responsible for coordinating the design process with DNR staff, obtain all permits, perform needed topographic survey, provide a written assessment and recommendations for best repair practices, prepare bid documents, develop addenda, answer pre-bid questions, conduct one pre-bid and attend one preconstruction meeting, conduct onsite construction inspection assistance, and will also be retained during construction for any clarifications from the DNR Field Engineer. The bid information, addenda, drawings and specifications will be distributed by the DNR. Vendors are required to submit their bids through IMPACTS at the link below.
