Comprehensive Development Impact Fee Nexus Study & Fee Updates (RFP)

Seeking qualified consultants to complete a development impact fee (dif) nexus study and propose dif updates for the city. The city assesses development impact fees on new development and redevelopment to fund the infrastructure required to support growth. The consultant will work with city staff to identify infrastructure and facilities (e.g., roads, parks, equipment) that may be included in the updated fee program, ensuring that the dif program aligns fees with the infrastructure and facilities costs generated by new development. Provide data, findings, and recommendations to implement new dif categories and update the city's existing dif categories based on required nexus study findings and the proposed infrastructure requirements to support the city's general plan growth projections and the city's 5-year capital improvement program (cip).
