As-Needed Tree Seedling Planting Services

To provide as-needed tree seedling planting services on state land where existing timber has been removed by harvest, wildfire, insects, disease, etc The Contractor shall plant tree seedlings across identified units. Planting will occur, on average, with a spacing of 12 LF x 12 LF and approx. 300 seedlings per acre. Seedlings will be purchased by the State and provided to the Contractor, generally as 1+0 plugs. Seedlings will be delivered to Fairbanks Area Forestry where the Contractor shall pick up the seedlings and transport them to planting sites. Planting seedling trees shall consist of digging and preparing plant holes and planting furnished seedling trees. This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply.
