Carrollton Double Crossover Widening

Widening Project is approximately 400 feet in length consisting of the removal and replacement of the double crossover track with owner provided materials and field modifications to the existing S-curve track; replacement of timber ties with owner furnished composite ties, the rework of existing rail beds and construction of rail beds on new alignments, the removal and replacement of the Overhead Contact System (OCS) and switch control system to correspond to the relocated track centers, installation of wayside train control system, and replacement and improvements to the street crossings and station pavement. Deadline for questions 02/19/2025, 2:00 PM. This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply. This project has a "prevailing wage" requirement. The RTA is committed to utilization of DBEs on all federally funded projects toward attainment of the agency's established overall goal of 32%.
