Ellsworth Maine – Request for Proposals – Sidewalk Plow Equipment

The City of Ellsworth is soliciting sealed proposals from qualified vendors for the purchase of a sidewalk plow machine to be used year-round for municipal sidewalk maintenance. The machine may be track-driven or wheeled but must not exceed 54 inches in overall width. The equipment must include: • A fully enclosed cab with heating and air conditioning, • An adjustable V-plow, • A snowblower attachment, and • A rotary broom attachment. The complete Request for Proposals (RFP), including specifications and submission instructions, is enclosed. Proposals will be evaluated based on compliance with specifications, pricing and value, warranty and support options, delivery timeframe, and vendor qualifications. Proposal Submission Sealed proposals must be clearly marked “RFP – Sidewalk Plow Equipment” and delivered to the City Clerk’s Office at Ellsworth City Hall, 1 City Hall Plaza, Ellsworth, ME 04605, no later than 2:00 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered. The City of Ellsworth reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive informalities, and accept the proposal deemed in the best interest of the City.
