Illegal Dump Site Cleanup-Vehicles

This Request for Proposal (RFP) announces the intent of the County of Mendocino to solicit proposals from qualified contractors for illegal dump site cleanup services via removal and disposal of abandoned, wrecked, dismantled, and inoperative vehicles from tribal land funded by the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program in and around the community of Covelo.The purpose of the RFP is to select a properly licensed company to provide turnkey services for the cleanup of illegal dump sites in and around Covelo. Another Request for Proposal (RFP) has been issued for the same project for removal and disposal of solid waste, and interested vendors are invited to submit applications for both opportunities The selected contractor will work under the direction of the County and in collaboration with the Round Valley Indian Tribes (RVIT).The contractor will be responsible for efficiently and properly removing illegally dumped junk vehicles from designated locations identified by the County of Mendocino and RVIT.
