DCY-C-2627-0075 Child Care Recruitment and Mentorship Program

The purpose of this RFP is to solicit Proposals from Offerors that will increase Ohio’s supply of licensed Providers; including the recruitment and licensing of at least 120 new Providers in communities most in need; and to support those Providers in establishing and operating child care businesses that adopt effective business practices to best serve the needs of Ohio’s families. Over the past 11 years, Ohio has experienced a continuous decline in Providers. Prior recruitment initiatives for Providers utilized American Rescue Plan Act funding. These initiatives provided funding and support to 114 licensed Providers. The Child Care Provider Recruitment and Mentorship Program is established in H.B.96 to increase the number of licensed Providers, by at least 120 new licensed Providers in the state. These Providers will be supported by the Contractor through the licensure process and given assistance with operational and business practices
