Microwave Backhaul Network

The Board of Clermont County Commissioners will be accepting sealed proposals for the purchase, installation, training, and other services necessary to provide and perform the installation of a replacement microwave backhaul network for the Clermont County Project 25 (P25) Public Safety Communications system’s RF Sites serving the State of Ohio’s Multi-Agency Radio Communications System (MARCS). All proposals shall be submitted in a sealed envelope marked:RFP: IP/MPLS Microwave Backhaul Network.All proposals must be received in the office of the Board of Clermont County Commissioners, 3rdFloor, 101 E. Main Street, Batavia, Ohio 45103, no later than 2:00 P.M. local time onDecember 22, 2025,at which time all proposals shall be opened. Instructions to vendors, specifications, and proposal form outlining the terms and conditions of the proposed purchase of services may be obtained by interested parties from Renee Wilson at the Clermont County Information Systems Department, 2279 Clermont Center Drive, Batavia, Ohio 45103, Phone: (513) 732-7924, FAX: (513) 732-8045 or by E-mail(rlwilson@clermontcountyohio.gov). Office hours are from 7:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Monday thru Friday. NOTE: ALL PROSPECTIVE PROPOSERS ARE HEREBY CAUTIONED NOT TO CONTACT ANY MEMBER OF THE CLERMONT COUNTY STAFF OR OFFICIALS OTHER THAN THE SPECIFIED CONTACT PERSON. A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held at the Clermont County Communications Center, 2279 Clermont Center Drive, Batavia, Ohio 45103, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 8:00 A.M. (local time), followed by site visits (limited to 2–3 participants per company). All questions must be submitted by Thursday, December 8, 2025, no later than 3:30 P.M. (local time). Each proposer must submit their Proposal in TRIPLICATE, one (1) original and two (2) copies with each copy stamped “COPY”. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all proposals and to hold such proposals for a period of sixty (60) days before taking any action and to award a contract to the proposal deemed most advantageous to the county per the specifications set in ORC 307.862. No Proposer may withdraw his proposal for a period of 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
