Guilford County Juvenile Detention Security Electronics System Upgrade

Guilford County Purchasing Department is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide a new Programmable Logic Controller (“PLLC”) Control System along with new PLC remote equipment in the three (3) housing equipment rooms, an upgrade of the existing intercom system, video surveillance system, and a reconfiguration of the computer screen layout in the front main control area, and control stations in the Housing Dayrooms. Additional cameras will need to be added to interior locations to provide enhanced visual surveillance and minimize blind spots. This Request for Proposal (RFP) includes a detailed description of the facility requirements and provides detailed instructions for submitting a compliant response.
