Description

RFI Scope La Crosse County seeks information from qualified vendors regarding strategies to strengthen the financial sustainability of revenue-generating programs. The primary focus is on tax levy–funded programs, such as the outpatient mental health clinic, while also reviewing programs that currently capture revenue but may not be maximizing opportunities. Key areas of interest include: • Program Assessment Evaluation: evaluate revenue-generating programs and identify opportunities for increased revenue capture. • Revenue and Insurance Optimization: Review coding, billing, reimbursement processes, and workflows to identify untapped opportunities. • Operational Efficiency: Evaluate processes and workflows to enhance revenue capture and sustainability. • Organizational and Staffing Alignment: Examine departmental structure and staff roles to identify adjustments that could support revenue recovery (e.g., how embedded Economic Support Specialists might assist uninsured consumers in obtaining coverage or shifting administrative tasks to administrative staff instead of direct billing staff). • Operational Risk Exposure: Consider any operational workflows related to regulatory compliance that increase risk exposure to revenue takebacks or recoupment
