Alaska Forest Roads Working Group Meetings ScheduledOctober 8 & November 4, 2025 | 2:00-4:00 p.m. | OnlinePurpose & ContextThe Division of Forestry & Fire Protection (DOF), on behalf of the Alaska Board of Forestry, will convene a Forest Roads Working Group in two sessions.These meetings respond to recent discussions at Board of Forestry meetings on forest road definitions, design standards, and long-term use under the Alaska Forest Resources & Practices Act (FRPA).The working group will refine problem statements and determine whether to recommend that the Board convene a formal Science & Technical Committee (S&TC) on the matter.
