A mandatory Pre-bid conference is scheduled on September 18, 2025 at 10:00am to review the existing site conditions. Bids are due by 2:00pm on September 30, 2025, at which time bids will no longer be accepted. Bids will be opened at 205 W. 5th Ave, Suite 108, Ellensburg, WA 98926 on September 30, 2025 at 2:01pm.Specifications may be seen at the office of the Board of Commissioners and online at http://www.co.kittitas.wa.us/notices/.This call for sealed bids is for the Ellensburg Rodeo Arena Improvements.Request for Information:Submit all inquiries in writing via mail or by phone 509-962-7542.  No verbal answers by any County personnel or its agents and consultants will be binding on the County.Scope of Work: The project consists of the demolition of existing stadia comprised of wood planks on steel structural frame. Demolition of three separate concrete masonry structures and a covered stage.  New construction to consist of new steel and aluminum stadia, +/-2,812 seats.  There will be three new structures composed of concrete masonry units and hollowcore roof (total of ±6,000 SF) on the existing Ellensburg Rodeo grounds. Housing new restroom facilities and bar areas for spectators. The project also includes a stage enclosure for the "Behind the Chutes" music and beer garden venue. All in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and the Standard Specifications.Work site:1010 East 8th Ave., Ellensburg,Washington 98926.Pre-Bid Conference: A MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled on September 18, 2025 @ 10:00 am to review the existing site conditions. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance and payment bonds within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the Kittitas County Public Works.The right is reserved to reject any and all bids and to waiver informalities in the bidding.Project documents will be available on or after September 11, 2025 at www.ALSCArchitectsPlanroom.com.
