Description
While the town building has aged gracefully, it is time for some needed upgrades to ensure the building remains in good condition and is useful for generations to come. With that in mind, the town of Corinth select board has tasked the town hall building committee to solicit bids for two renovation projects. Years ago, vinyl siding was installed on the rear facade of the building to protect what is assumed to be the failing original clapboard siding. With the vinyl siding itself now failing, and to restore the historic aesthetics of the original clapboard siding. With the vinyl siding itself now failing, and to restore the historic aesthetics of the original building, it was decided that the vinyl siding should be removed. The rear facade will then be restored with more historically correct wood clapboard siding. Work to be completed in conjunction with the siding repair and/or replacement includes repairing the rear eave and overhang and corner and window trim as needed.
