Invitation to BidIn accordance with competitive bid requirements set forth under RCW 39.04.155, Small WorksContract Procedures, the City of Port Townsend invites interested bidders to submit a bid forthis solicitation. Contractors who bid on this project must be registered on the Small WorksRoster by the time bids are due, for Washington Street and Walker Street SidewalkImprovements up to the hour of 2:00 p. m., Pacific Local Time, Tuesday, October 21, 2025, andwill be publicly opened and read aloud at that time on the same day in the Port TownsendCity Hall, 250 Madison St, Suite 1, Port Townsend, Washington in the second-floor conferenceroom.Summary ofProjectThis Contract includes, but is not limited to, the following work: : traffic control; removal ofexisting sidewalk and asphalt pavement; roadway excavation with placement of crushedsurfacing; construction of cement concrete curb and sidewalk; installation of ADA-compliantcurb ramps; installation of gravity block wall; installation and adjustment of catch basins;installation of permanent pavement markings; relocation of existing sign; restoration ofdisturbed areas; and other work, all in accordance with the attached Contract Plans, theseContract Provisions and the Standard Specifications. Streets may be removed from this projector additional streets added to this project as the City’s Budget and Contractor schedule allowsand are agreed upon.The Engineer’s Estimate is $314,050Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project will be available on-linethrough City of Port Townsend’s website athttp://www.cityofpt.us/rfps.
