Chinatown Public Health Center Renovation

Work consists of full seismic upgrades and major interior demolition to transform the building into a state-of-the-art health facility. Structural improvements-such as new braced frames, modified pile caps, extended grade beams, and reinforced moment connections-will necessitate traffic controls and phased roadway closures. Site upgrades will feature sidewalk improvements, roadway repaving, and utility trenching, including installation of new electrical service. Exterior enhancements include re-roofing, new metal panel finishes, high-performance fenestration replacements, vertical sunshades with maintenance access, and integrated artwork. Interior reconfigurations and comprehensive systems upgrades will improve operational efficiency and overall experience for staff and patients.
