Division B Water Main Improvements

The work generally consists of furnishing and installation of water system piping, fittings, valves, hydrants, services, connections, disconnections, insertion valves, and appurtenances for potable water. Installation will consist approx. 6,000 LF of 4"-8" PVC C900 for open-cut, approx. 680 LF OF 8" Ductile Iron for open-cut, and approx. 1,460 LF of 4"-12" PVC C900 Certa-Lok Yelomine Restrained Joint for horizontal directional bore water main along the design routes. There will be directional bores that cross State Highway Illinois Route 49, along with service connections to be directionally bored. There will be two jack and bore locations to cross the Norfolk Southern Railroad right of way. There will be one parallel occupancy location within Norfolk Southern Railroad right of way. This work also includes surface restoration with various pavements, curbing, and sidewalks. This solicitation has some or all Local funding, additional requirements may apply.
