Description
The City of Atlanta, on behalf of the Department of Aviation (DOA), will shortly undergo a Multi-Step Sealed Bid process comprised of a prequalification phase as the initial step, followed by an Invitation for Bid (IFB) towards the procurement of an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-Assisted Threat Detection System for Screening Equipment at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL). Interested vendors during the prequalification phase must demonstrate experience with AI-based security screening in aviation environments, capability to integrate with existing X-ray equipment (e.g., Smith Detection Hi-Scan 6040i). The City expectation is that the selected vendor will deliver a complete AI-assisted solution, including installation, integration, training, and support¿for employee screening at designated airside locations.
