Description
This is the manufacture, transport, and precise deployment of Patch Reefs in Nearshore East Artificial Reef Site. Nearshore East Reef Site is a large (approx. 2 square nautical miles) Army Corps of Engineers (ACOE) and Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) permitted site (see permits for details). Location is approx. 5nmi southeast of Pensacola Pass in Gulf of Mexico, at water depths of approx. 45-65fsw. Approx. reef area center coordinates 30Deg 17.600’N; 087Deg 13.700’W. Approx. 25 (exact number is dependent upon individual module prices) Patch Reefs (See diagram in attachments) will be deployed approx. 500 feet apart. Final number, design, spacing and individual patch reef coordinates will be determined by County and provided to selected contractor upon issuance of Purchase Order and Notice to Proceed. Price includes manufacture, preparation, transportation, deployment and precise placement of artificial reef modules. Modules must conform to the minimum specifications, requirements and conditions of this solicitation as well.
