Description
The Mid-East Commission on behalf of Beaufort County, North Carolina is soliciting qualifications from engineering and planning firms for planning, engineering and design services for the Essential Services Resilience Plan project.The plan will focus on green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) projects for county owned facilities with documented flood issues, and communications infrastructure projects that have been determined to be a priority by Beaufort County Emergency Management. The plan will include several GSI and communications concept projects. One GSI project and one communication project selected by the county will have construction level designs completed. These designs will be used to move forward into the permitting and construction phases of the projects.This project was funded through the NC Division of Coastal Management’s Resilient Coastal Communities Program, Phase 3 (Engineering/Design).
