Development team capable of delivering a transformative, mixed-use development project at 90 Washington Street. The City is prepared to work directly with the selected developer to establish new zoning that enables substantial height, massing, and program mix, and expects proposals for significant housing production. The City intends to sell the property through a Purchase and Sale Agreement, conveying fee simple title to the selected developer, who will be responsible for all aspects of financing, design, entitlements, construction, and operations in partnership with the City. Through this partnership, the City aims to close on the sale of the land by mid- to late-2027. Any questions about the RFP process, please reach out to sra@somervillema.gov.
